The Program Director shall develop, manage, supervise and evaluate all program initiatives and facility needs of Girls Incorporated of Meriden. Must be willing to be hands on with all functions of programming. Click here to see the full job responsibilities and qualifications.
Someone with a talent or hobby that could produce a meaningful and fun opportunity for our members in the form of a class. For examples, please see our Program Catalog.
Summer Camp Unit Leader (Seasonal)
Must have completed at least one year of college. Unit Leaders are responsible for the well being of campers in their units. They plan the weekly lessons, and handle all camp activities. Must be creative, enthusiastic, and willing to have fun in a safe and nurturing environment.
Summer Camp Counselor (Seasonal)
Must be at least 16 years old. Counselors act as the support to Unit Leaders (see above for description).
Summer Camp Specialty Positions (Seasonal)
Must have completed at least one year of college and sometimes may need to be 20 or older for positions of Lifeguard, Arts & Crafts Director, Games Director, and Operation S.M.A.R.T. Director.
